Stephen E. Parker is Associate Professor of Sociology. He teaches a wide variety of classes from the Sociology of Music to Social Stratification to Sociology of Education. The 2004 Life Raft Debate was Dr. Parker’s 3^rd entry and his first win. His dry sarcasm and wit overpowered the video production offered by Matt Kenyon and the promises of omniscience from "Miss Information," Rosemary Arneson. Dr. Parker has been at the University of Montevallo since 1992.
